This season, Kelsey Plum is averaging 20.1 PPG and she is handling a career-high 26.7% usage rate. However, Plum is in a brutal spot Tuesday vs. the Mystics. Ever since moving center Shakira Austin into the starting lineup 10 games ago, Washington ranks second in the WNBA in defensive rating, trailing only the top-seeded Lynx.

During this stretch, the Mystics have been the best defense in the WNBA at defending the outside shot, with Washington giving up the fewest made three-pointers per game (5.7) on the lowest three-point percentage in the league (28.8%). This is very bad news for Plum, as she is averaging 2.9 made three-pointers per game and 37% of her points have come via three-pointers this season.
