Major League Baseball has all 30 teams in action on Sunday before the All-Star break. After 11 matchups early in the afternoon, there are four games in the late wave just after 4:00 p.m. ET. If you’re looking to get in a last round of starting pitcher prop bets before the break, let’s take a look at the eight starting pitchers taking the mound. From that group of starters, my top starting pitcher prop bets include plays from Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Cristopher Sanchez and Jose Berrios.

Best Starting Pitcher Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Yoshinobu Yamamoto over 2.5 earned runs (+135)
Yamamoto has been very solid this season for the Dodgers overall, going 8-7 with a 2.77 ERA, 3.29 FIP and 1.07 WHIP. He has allowed an average of only 1.7 earned runs per start, but he has struggled in several of his last few starts, making this a nice value option in Sunday’s starting pitcher prop bets.
Yamamoto gave up three earned runs (five total runs) and got just two outs in his last start against the Brewers. He has gone over this earned runs allowed line in three of his last five starts, dating back to his last matchup against the Giants.
He faced San Francisco in Los Angeles on June 13, giving up five earned runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings. He struggled in his next start against the Padres as well before posting two strong starts and then unraveling against the Brewers.
He could bounce back, but the Giants will be looking to bounce back from yesterday’s loss and should make it hard on him again on Sunday. Getting the over 2.5 earned runs prop at +135 is a strong value play, and I think there’s a good chance the Giants get to the 26-year-old righty once again.
Cristopher Sanchez under 5.5 hits allowed (-115)
Sanchez has been excellent for the Phillies this season and is one of the top All-Star snubs this season. The Phillies have been very vocally upset about him getting passed over, and he’ll have a matchup with the Padres to prove his point on Sunday afternoon.
Sanchez has gone 7-2 in 18 starts with a 2.59 ERA, 2.75 FIP and an average of 5.2 hits allowed per game. He gave up seven hits in his last start, which was against the Giants, but before that had held opponents under this hit line in four straight starts and 11 of his previous 14 outings.
He has a good matchup against the Padres, who are hitting .235 over the past two weeks with an average of 7.6 hits per game.
Since the Phillies will be able to use their bullpen before the break, they probably won’t ask Sanchez to go extremely deep into the game, helping him keep his hits allowed under this line.
Jose Berrios over 17.5 outs recorded (-110)
Berrios and the Blue Jays have split the first two games in their series in Sacramento, and the veteran righty will try to help his team get into the break with a series win over the A’s.
Berrios is averaging 5 2/3 innings per start on the season while going 5-3 with a 3.53 ERA, 4.06 FIP and a 1.21 WHIP. He has been eating innings for the Jays lately, going at least six innings (18 outs) in three of his last four and eight of his last 10.
The Blue Jays have gotten three innings from the bullpen in each of the first two games in this series, using four relievers on Friday and three relievers on Saturday. They’ll hope to get a similar length from Berrios, and even in hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park, I think Berrios will get through at least six innings on Sunday.
