For potentially the final time, Goldberg will wrestle a match in WWE. He will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, at State Farm Arena. Saturday Night’s Main Event debuted in 1985, and 41 years later, WWE will host the 40th one on July 12.
This is Goldberg’s 12th match since returning to WWE in 2016. Goldberg is 5-6 in that span and lost his last match against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber. Since 2016, Goldberg has won two WWE Championships and has the opportunity to achieve his career’s crowning achievement: winning the title in his hometown in his final match.
How to Watch

Full Card and Predictions
WWE World Championship Match
(C) Gunther vs. Goldberg
Gunther is currently in his second reign as the world champion after beating Jey Uso a month ago. Besides losing to Uso at WrestleMania 41, Gunther has destroyed everyone in his path in WWE.
Although it would be a feel-good moment to see Goldberg win the title, Gunther’s reign seems to be only getting started. In a short period, Gunther and Goldberg have done a good job of getting fans invested in this match. Would Goldberg winning be shocking? No, since WWE’s second biggest premium live event, SummerSlam, is right around the corner.
Prediction: Gunther defeats Goldberg to retain his World Championship. Seth Rollins tries to cash in his MITB briefcase but is interrupted by Roman Reigns.
Men’s Singles Match
LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins
Knight is still one of the most popular stars in WWE, but has come up short recently at significant events. He has lost his previous four matches at premium live events and is due for a big victory. He now faces Rollins, who has been unbeatable with his new group. The reality is, Knight needs this win more to inch closer to a title opportunity.
Prediction: LA Knight defeats Seth Rollins.
Men’s Singles Match
Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre
Orton and McIntyre have faced each other countless times, with the last time being on Friday Night SmackDown in March. McIntyre has won the previous two singles matchups and seven of nine. The Viper is due for a victory against McIntyre, and after losing to Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions, this is his match to lose.
Prediction: Randy Orton defeats Drew McIntyre.
Men’s United States Championship Match
(C) Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso
It’s Big Brother Jimmy Uso taking on his younger brother, Solo Sikoa, for the US title. With the recent additions of Talla Tonga and JC Mateo alongside the returning Tonga Loa, Sikoa’s revamped group is unstoppable. The only person Jimmy has on his side now is his cousin Jacob Fatu and his brother Jey. It just seems like it is nearly impossible to defeat Sikoa with his group by his side.
Prediction: Solo Sikoa defeats Jimmy Uso to retain his United States Championship.
