Mariners at Tigers game delayed due to rain Saturday 7/12/25

UPDATE: Mariners at Tigers is expected to begin at 2:45 p.m. EST.

The start of Saturday afternoon’s matchup between the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers has been delayed due to rain.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 1:10 p.m. EST but inclement weather in the area will prevent the contest from starting on time. The new start time has not yet been announced.

The Tigers are -121 favorites on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook while the Mariners are +100 home underdogs. The run total sits at eight.

Right-hander Casey Mize (2.63 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) starts for Detroit against Seattle’s George Kirby (4.22 ERA, 1.10 WHP), another righty.
