The Genesis Scottish Open will be played at the Renaissance Club (par 70, 7,237 yards, fescue greens) in North Berwick, Scotland, and this event will be co-sanctioned between the PGA TOUR and DP World TOUR. There will be 156 players competing, with half of the players from the PGA TOUR and half from the DP World TOUR. Following the first two rounds, there will be a standard top-65 and ties cut.

Brian Harman to make the cut
The ultra-consistent Harman should advance through the cut at the Renaissance Club this week. The veteran has finished T-12 and T-21 at this par 70 the last two years and Harman has shot 67 or better in six of these eight rounds. As a former Open Championship winner, Harman knows how to navigate links courses very well and the 38-year-old is in the midst of another great season on the PGA TOUR. Harman picked up the fourth win of his career at the Charles Schwab Challenge in April and he has made 15-of-18 cuts this season with six top-25 finishes, including a T-8 at the Travelers Championship in his most recent start.
Matt Wallace to make the cut
Wallace has made 4-of-6 cuts at the Renaissance Club and three of these finishes have been top-30 results. The Englishman has a 6-under 64 on his resume at the Renaissance Club and before joining the PGA TOUR, Wallace won five times on the DP World TOUR. As you can see, the 35-year-old has a true knack for competing overseas and considering his strong form, Wallace should have no problems making the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open this week. When excluding his first round withdrawal from the CJ CUP Byron Nelson in May, Wallace has advanced to the weekend in six of his last seven solo starts and five of these finishes have come inside the top-30. Plus, Wallace leads the PGA TOUR in SG ARG this season, setting him up well for his return to the Renaissance Club, as three of the past five winners at this links course have finished the tournament top-15 in SG ARG.
Yannik Paul to make the cut
While not a household name, Paul has a great chance to make the cut this week. The German professional is a DP World TOUR regular who has made six of his last eight cuts entering this week, most notably with a third-place finish at the Volvo China Open in April. Paul ranks 31st in GIR% on the DP World TOUR this season and last but not least, Paul has finished T-25 and T-26 in his two starts at the Renaissance Club. The 31-year-old is gaining a strong 1.12 strokes per round at the par 70 and he has shot under par in five of his eight rounds at the Renaissance Club, including a pair of 5-under 65s.
