Mariners at Yankees game delayed Tuesday 7/8/25

UPDATE: The game is expected to resume at 8:50 p.m. ET.

In the top of the fifth inning of Tuesday’s game between the Mariners and Yankees, the game entered into a rain delay. There is no estimated time for when it will resume as of yet.

The game was tied 0-0 at the time of the delay, with the Mariners having two men on base and two outs in the top of the fifth. Seattle has out-hit New York 4-1. Both pitchers have started well, with Logan Gilbert throwing four strikeouts so far in 51 pitches. Will Warren also has four strikeouts after 69 pitches.
