The PGA TOUR heads across the pond this week to Scotland for the Genesis Scottish Open. The Renaissance Club will be the host and measures as a 7,237-yard par 70 with Fescue greens.
We have another full-field, 156-man tournament this week with a 36-hole cut. The field is loaded, as World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and World No. 2 Rory McIlroy will both be teeing it up. They’ll be joined by the likes of Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Tommy Fleetwood as we sit just one week away from the Open Championship.
Below, I have outlined three of my favorite DraftKings plays for the week.

Robert MacIntyre ($9,100)
MacIntyre returns to his home country looking to defend his title at the Renaissance Club. The Scotsman edged Adam Scott last year to take home the trophy. This of course was just one year after a runner-up finish where he suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Rory McIlroy.
Bobby Mac is entering play this week in some excellent form, posting a pair of top-six finishes over his past five starts, including a very impressive runner-up performance at the U.S. Open two starts ago. He’s been dialed in with his irons of late as well, gaining three or more strokes on approach in three of his past four starts.
Even before his recent success, MacIntyre had shown a strong track record at the Scottish Open, posting two top-18 finishes in his previous four appearances. We know he is more than comfortable in difficult coastal conditions, having grown up playing in bad weather. He’s also been outstanding on the fescue greens at the Renaissance Club, averaging 1.3 Strokes Gained per round here over his past three starts. That number ranks him fifth in this field among players with multiple appearances.
With all of the heavy hitters in the field this week, we can roster MacIntyre for just $9,100 at both a course and an event he loves dearly. If you’re feeling frisky, you could even pair him with Scottie Scheffler in a stars-and-scrubs style lineup, which would leave just over $6,900 in salary for your four remaining spots.
Aaron Rai ($8,300)
Another European, Rai makes a ton of sense this week at just $8,300. He has pretty strong history at the Renaissance Club in his career, having won this event back in 2020 (back when it was a DP World TOUR event), before finishing T4 here last year.
Being that this is a links course, the only real defense the course provides are the pot bunkers. Avoiding them will be paramount this week if you want to avoid bogeys, and no one in the world is better at keeping the ball in the fairway than Rai. The Englishman ranks No. 1 on the PGA TOUR in driving accuracy this season, having hit 579 of a possible 782 fairways, good for a 74.04% clip.
In addition, Rai has always been elite at avoiding bogeys, although he’s struggled a bit more with that in 2025. However, he ranked seventh on the PGA TOUR last year in bogey avoidance, and showed signs of returning to form after making just six in his last start at the Travelers.
I am often a sucker for Rai due to his elite ball-striking numbers, and the fact he’s excelled at this event in the past makes him an easy click at this price point.
Alex Noren ($7,500)
We will make it a clean sweep for Europeans this week with Noren rounding us out. The Swede has played this event each of the past three years, posting finishes of T30 and T10 sandwiched around a missed cut. It’s been a mixed bag of results for Noren since he returned from injury earlier this season, posting two strong finishes (T30, T17) while also missing a pair of cuts in his six starts.
Even with his subpar recent form, he should feel right at home this week back in Europe, where he’s won a whopping 11 times on the DP World Tour in his career.
Noren’s ball-striking numbers have been poor since his return, but his elite touch both on and around the greens has been there. I fully trust the 41-year-old to consistently get up and down when needed if the conditions get windy this week, and at just $7,500, with his course history, he’s an incredibly strong value.
