A’ja Wilson U 10.5 Rebounds (-140)
While the Liberty have allowed the second-most rebounds in the league this season, this 10.5-rebound line is simply too high for Wilson right now. This season, the three-time MVP is averaging 9.0 rebounds per game and has only eclipsed 10.5 rebounds in five of her 15 starts. Wilson did post 16 rebounds in her lone matchup against New York in the season opener, but things are much different this time around.
The Aces just traded for forward NaLyssa Smith two weeks ago and with her available for Las Vegas’ last two games, Wilson hasn’t been much of a factor on the glass. The veteran has only recorded three rebounds in both of these games, while Smith has been the Aces’ main rebounder with seven and 10 rebounds.
The former No. 2 overall pick is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game for her career and as we have seen in these first two games together, sharing the floor with Smith is absolutely going to hurt the rebounding numbers going forward. This 10.5-rebound line for Wilson has a chance of dropping to 9.5 before game time and attacking this under quickly is a smart move.
