The NFL Draft is in the rearview, and now it is time to turn attention toward the upcoming season. Best Ball drafts have been taking place for a while, and some players are starting to see significant drops in their average draft position.

2025 NFL Best Ball ADP Fallers
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions | ADP: 11.2 (biggest faller)
Amon-Ra St. Brown has been one of the best receivers in football over the past several seasons. Since coming into the league in 2021, St. Brown is seventh in the NFL in receiving yards. Over the past two seasons, only CeeDee Lamb has more receptions than St. Brown, and only Lamb and Ja’Marr Chase have more receiving yards. He has been an elite target for Jared Goff, but his role could be slightly diminished moving forward. Jameson Williams broke out last season, going for over 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career. Sam LaPorta is a great threat at tight end, and the Lions drafted two wide receivers. St. Brown was a touchdown machine last season, and if he ends up getting fewer red-zone targets next season, he could see a bit of a decline in production. He is still a fantastic player, but he has fallen out of the top-10 in Best Ball drafts.
TE Brock Bowers, Raiders | ADP: 17.0 (fifth-biggest)
Brock Bowers had an incredible rookie season. He finished third in the NFL in receptions, eighth in receiving yards and led all tight ends in both of those categories. He set two rookie records, one for the most receiving yards by a tight end and one for the most receptions by any player. Bowers did all of that despite being in a struggling offense with a variety of mediocre-to-poor quarterbacks. Next season, he will have more stability at quarterback with Geno Smith and more experience on the sidelines with head coach Pete Carroll. The Raiders added several offensive weapons in the NFL Draft, including two receivers and superstar running back Ashton Jeanty. This addition of new weapons could take away Bowers’ target share a bit. While he should have a great season, there could be a bit of regression after such a special rookie season. Bowers is still the deserved TE1 in fantasy drafts, but Best Ball drafters are dropping him down their overall board a bit.
WR Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers | ADP: 100.4 (sixth-biggest)
Brandon Aiyuk is a fascinating player in the fantasy world. Over the two seasons of 2022-23 and 2023-24, Aiyuk ranked 11th in the NFL in receiving yards. He then got injured last season and was only able to play seven games. It was a disastrous season for the 49ers with all of their injuries, and they are hoping for a bounce back next season. The 49ers made a massive move in the offseason, trading longtime star receiver Deebo Samuel. However, the 49ers are still loaded with weapons. Christian McCaffrey should be one of the best running backs in the league if he is healthy, George Kittle is one of the best tight ends in the NFL and Ricky Pearsall could be a breakout star in his first full season at receiver. Aiyuk is the San Francisco WR1 heading into next season, but with the amount of weapons available in San Francisco and Aiyuk’s injury concerns, Best Ball drafters are not trusting him.
