The July Fourth tradition continues with the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest taking place today at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The greatest competitor of all time in this competition, Joey Chestnut, is making his return to this event after missing it last year. Chestnut has won this event 16 times and has won the last six he has competed in.
In this event, Chestnut holds the record for most hot dogs eaten, with 76 in 2021. Chestnut has eaten 62 and 63 hot dogs in the last two contests he has participated in. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the odds are +215 for the record to be broken, while it is -275 for it not to happen.
