Tuesday’s MLB slate features plenty of high-profile names. From superstar sluggers to untouchable pitchers, these 15 games offer up a little bit of everything. Tonight’s entry fee is $18, making Tuesday’s featured DFS contest a potential high payout for fantasy managers. Here are two players worth considering in your lineups.

P Jacob deGrom, Texas Rangers vs. BAL ($10,300)
After several injury-plagued years in Texas, Jacob deGrom has bounced back in a major way. Through 95.1 innings of work, the right-hander has recorded a 2.08 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 94 strikeouts. Most recently, he tossed seven frames of scoreless ball against none other than the Orioles, allowing just one hit. The performance was another masterpiece in a campaign full of them for the two-time Cy Young winner. In only two of his 16 starts this season, deGrom has allowed more than two earned runs.
It’s been a disappointing season for the Orioles, especially at the plate. Baltimore is averaging only 3.74 runs per game away from home, tied for the league’s fourth-lowest mark. Granted, the O’s have put up a combined 40 runs over their previous four contests. Still, none of those games came against elite pitching. The drop-off after deGrom is steep, with Atlanta’s Grant Holmes ($9,700) serving as Tuesday’s third-most expensive starter. Keeping that in mind, there’s no other arm I’d rather back tonight than Texas’ ace.
SS Elly De La Cruz, Cincinnati Reds at BOS ($5,900)
In a sport filled with ‘can’t-miss’ young talent, Elly De La Cruz might be baseball’s most exciting player. The shortstop can do a bit of everything: hit for power, steal a bag, and play exceptional defense. That well-rounded skillset makes the 23-year-old a terrific target in most DFS formats. Other than a knack for striking out, there really aren’t many flaws in Elly’s game. In 85 appearances this season, the slugger is slashing .279/.355/.503 with 18 homers, 22 steals and 57 RBIs.
On most nights, De La Cruz would be a strong pick in most fantasy baseball lineups. That’s especially true on Tuesday, when Cincinnati visits the Red Sox. Last night, these two clubs combined for 19 runs. However, Elly had a somewhat modest stat line (7 FPTS). There’s a good chance that changes against Richard Fitts ($5,500). The spot-starter has bounced between Boston and Triple A Worchester all season. So far, the results have not been great through six major league outings (4.68 ERA, 1.28 WHIP). The Reds are averaging 4.62 runs per game, tenth-most in baseball. Assuming his teammates get on base, De La Cruz should have ample opportunity to produce at Fenway Park.
