FIFA Club World Cup: Real Madrid vs. Juventus prediction, pick 7/1/25

Real Madrid and Juventus are set to clash on Tuesday for a rare all-European Round of 16 match in the FIFA Club World Cup. Madrid got here by winning Group H, while Juventus finished runner-up to Man City in Group G.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Real Madrid are favorites on the moneyline at -150 odds. Juve’s moneyline is set at +400, while a draw is available at +290.

Real Madrid vs. Juventus Prediction, Pick

Juventus got off to a great start in the Club World Cup, winning their first two games by a combined score of 9-1. However, things took a major turn for the worse when they faced their first difficult match of the tournament, losing 5-2 to Man City in the final group game. Real Madrid will present a similar challenge, and I’m not sure Juventus are up for the fight.

Juve got absolutely dominated against the English side, conceding 5 goals, 77% possession, 24 shots and 11 shots on target. Granted, City have looked like the best team in the tournament so far, but Madrid aren’t far behind.

After a sluggish start and 1-1 draw against Al Hilal, they have won each of their other games by a combined score of 6-1. That includes a 3-0 win over RB Salzburg, a team that was in last year’s UEFA Champions League. Juventus struggled in Serie A last season, finishing fourth. Their struggles were masked in their first two games against easier opponents before they were exposed against a European giant.

Although Real Madrid might not win in as dominant of fashion, I still think they get the job done with ease in the 90 minutes. At -150 odds, this feels like great value for the Spanish side in this one against a team that is clearly inferior. This one might not get ugly, but expect Madrid to get the job done.

The Pick: Real Madrid Moneyline (-150)
