MLB Best Bets: Top prop bets for Angels vs. Nationals on Saturday 6/28/25

Tonight’s MLB slate wraps up with another matchup between the Los Angeles Angels and Washington Nationals out on the sunny West Coast. With a 9:38 p.m. EST start time, there’s still a few hours left to put in your Saturday night betting cards.

Here’s the best bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Angels vs. Nationals tonight.

Michael Soroka over 4.5 hits allowed (-110)

27-year-old right-hander Michael Soroka’s first season as a National has two stories to it. On one hand, he’s thrown 59 strikeouts in 53.1 innings and has a 1.09 WHIP with a .219 opponent average. On the flip side, his ERA sits at 5.06 with a 4.55 FIP thanks to his homer-friendly pitching. While he’s generally kept the hits down, he’s still allowed at least five knocks in six of his 10 appearances this season. The value here looks fine and the Angels put up at least three runs in each of their last six games, so I think they tally enough hits off Soroka for this to cash.

CJ Abrams 2+ hits (+190)

Nationals infielder CJ Abrams bats .287 with an .842 OPS this season as he enjoys the best campaign of his young career. He’s one of the best bats in Washington’s lineup and generally stands out among an offense with its fair share of struggles, so he’s one of the top targets when betting Nationals props. With three multi-hit games in his last four appearances, I’m banking on Abrams to do it again against the Angels and keep his hot streak rolling.

Mike Trout 2+ hits + runs + RBIs (-145)

Mike Trout needs no introduction for this write-up, and while the Angels superstar isn’t having the best campaign, he remains the top talent in this ball game by a clear margin. Los Angeles’ batting order may have some rough nights, but they’re capable of high-scoring outings like yesterday’s on occasion. This line feels very easily obtainable for Trout, so taking him to record 2+ hits + runs + RBIs at -145 rounds out this batch of best bets.
