Mets at Pirates game delayed due to rain Saturday 6/28/25

UPDATE: Mets at Pirates is expected to resume at 6 p.m. EST.

Saturday afternoon’s matchup between the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates is in a rain delay.

The game began a shade after 4 p.m. EST and made it into the top of the second inning before delay decision was made due to inclement weather in the area. A time for resumption hasn’t yet been announced.

A Francisco Lindor double set up an eventual RBI single for Juan Soto as the Mets took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second before pause in play.

Betting lines are locked on DraftKings Sportsbook due to the delay, but the Mets are -212 favorites on the Moneyline as things currently stand. The Pirates are +160 ML underdogs with a run total of 9.5.
