This is once again out of the Pokémon Diamond Pack, which is $1,000 to purchase. But that feels like nothing when the fair market value of this card comes back at $12,807. 2019 Topps Triple Threads Autograph Relics #SO1 Shohei Ohtani – Magenta Printing Plate 1/1

You don’t often find a Shohei Ohtani 1/1 Printing Plate auto for $500. Yet this lucky collector nabbed it from the Sports Platinum Pack. I don’t know who originally pulled this card, but I love that they went for an “Authentic” label instead of chasing a grade. We get so caught up in grading 1/1s that grades shouldn’t matter—it’s the only one in the world! I still fall victim to the “Oh, it’s a 1/1 but it got a PSA 8, now I’m not as interested” mentality, and I know better! Still, this card’s a massive hit that’ll hold value for years to come. Congrats on a ridiculous hit from the Sports Platinum Pack!
2022 Absolute Kaboom #20 Aaron Judge (BGS 9 MINT)

I’m a sucker for a good Kaboom!. I know a lot of people have gripes because it’s unlicensed from Panini, but c’mon, look how beautiful that card is! This BGS 9 carries an FMV of $1,306, giving our collector over $300 in profit on their return. While some scoff at the unlicensed cards, I have yet to see an insert that draws as much attention as a Kaboom! does from Topps. Judge is once again vying for another MVP award this season and on DraftKings Sportsbook, is currently a -2000 favorite. Should he take it down, it would be the third of his career at just 33 years old.
