The group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup has concluded, and now there are 16 teams remaining as we move to the knockout stage of the tournament. The Round of 16 matches will run from Saturday, June 28th until Tuesday, July 1st. Below are my favorite bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for the next round of the tournament.
Inter Milan Moneyline (-130)
Inter Milan got off to a rough start in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, drawing their opening match with Monterrey. Since then, they have won two straight games and finished top of Group E with seven points.
They now have a matchup with Fluminense in the Round of 16, and it’s one they should win. The Brazilian side finished second in Group F after two scoreless draws and a 4-2 win over Ulsan. On paper, this game is a mismatch. Inter Milan finished second in Serie A and made it to the Champions League final. Fluminense currently sits sixth in the Brazilian league, and their only win of this tournament is against a team that finished with zero points in group play.
At close to even odds, this feels like great value for Inter to get the job done within 90 minutes. This game will take place on Monday, June 30th at 3 p.m. ET.
Bayern Munich Moneyline (-140)
Bayern Munich played a weakened side in their final group stage game against Benfica because they had already qualified for the next round. It may have turned out for the best, as they avoid Chelsea in the Round of 16 and will now play Flamengo as a result of finishing second in Group C. Flamengo have impressed everyone in their run so far, highlighted by a 3-1 win over Chelsea and finishing top of Group D.
However, all good things must come to an end. Bayern Munich are a step up in competition even from Chelsea. They won the Bundesliga last season and dominated their first two games of this competition with their full-strength lineups. The loss to Benfica ended a nine-game unbeaten streak in all competitions, going all the way back to April 8th.
The German side has what it takes to go all the way in this tournament, and that starts with a win against Flamengo. This game will take place on Sunday, June 29th at 4 p.m. ET.
