This is one of those occasions when writing specifically about DFS values is giving me a little bit of FOMO. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great options on tonight’s eight-game featured slate on DraftKings. But at the same time, the top of Wednesday’s pitching pricing list is loaded with huge names, including Zack Wheeler ($10,300), Max Fried ($9,500) and Yoshinobu Yamamoto ($8,800). It’s a fun collection of arms.
Still, you’ll need to save elsewhere to fit those men into your lineups. With that in mind, here are my top MLB DFS bargain picks for this evening’s action on the diamond.

SP Edward Cabrera, Miami Marlins at San Francisco Giants, $6,700
It’s been a little under the radar, likely because Cabrera plays for the Marlins, but the right-hander has been downright amazing for the better part of two months now. Since a May 4 start against the Athletics, Cabrera has maintained a 2.23 ERA and a 3.10 FIP to go along with a near-elite 26.2% strikeout rate. In fact, if you want to talk about consistency, Cabrera has struck out at least five opponents in each of his last six outings. Because of his employer, Cabrera doesn’t get many wins, which does somewhat limit his DFS upside. Still, you don’t often find a pitcher in this type of groove for less than $7,000. The fact he’s also toeing the rubber at the notoriously pitcher-friendly Oracle Park is simply a bonus.
It’s also not like the Giants have proven to be an offensive behemoth. Yes, the addition of Rafael Devers is a game-changer, but for the month of June, San Francisco sits 27th in batting average (.228) and 21st in wOBA (.308) as a team. The price tag is Cabrera’s main selling point on Wednesday and the opponent is far from a deterrent.
OF Michael Conforto, Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies, $3,800
It had to be Conforto. Seriously. If I wanted to include a Dodgers asset in this article — it had to be Conforto. Salaries always get a bump when a game is being played at Coors Field and tonight is no exception with Los Angeles’ bats. Heck, Shohei Ohtani ($7,400) is carrying a price tag that I literally don’t think I’ve ever seen before on DraftKings. However, due to his .171 average and 74 wRC+ in 2025, Conforto is the lone Dodgers starter with a salary below $4,000 on Wednesday. It’s the same price as yesterday, when the veteran outfielder smacked his fifth home run of the season and registered 23 FPTS.
I could mention that Conforto’s expected stats are much better than his surface ones, but the real alluring factor on this slate is the presence of Chase Dollander ($5,000). The rookie RHP has thrown 20.2 innings in Colorado so far this season and has surrendered 22 earned runs and eight opponent long balls. All opposing hitters are combining to slash .341/.408/.626 off Dollander in the altitude. Yikes.
2B/3B Edmundo Sosa, Philadelphia Phillies at Houston Astros, $3,200
Wednesday marks the third straight game that the Phillies will face a left-handed starter, so it stands to reason that the team will trot out the exact same lineup yet again. It’s a batting order that features Sosa in the seven-spot, yet you could make the case that the utility man should be even higher. In 61 plate appearances against LHPs in 2025, Sosa is slashing .377/.443/.528 with a 173 wRC+ that’s second on the team to only Kyle Schwarber ($5,600). In DFS, Sosa also gives the added benefit of positional flexibility, so you can slot him in wherever he makes the most sense.
The lefty that Philadelphia will be facing is Colton Gordon ($6,500), a rookie starter who has conceded multiple home runs in three of his last four outings. In fact, Gordon’s been roasted by opposing RHBs in his first taste of MLB action, giving up a .576 slugging percentage and a .388 wOBA within the split. Needless to say, this is a spot to attack this evening.
