DraftKings’ “Queen of the Court” promotion kicks off on Tuesday, June 24th and will run at various times throughout the W season! What is it, and how do I get in on the action? Great questions.

DraftKings Queen of the Court Picks for Tuesday, June 24
Here are the matchups we’ll be crowning a queen from tonight:
Atlanta Dream @ Dallas Wings—8:00 PM EST
Los Angeles Sparks @ Chicago Sky—8:00 PM EST
Minnesota Lynx @ Washington Mystics—8:00 PM EST
Indiana Fever @ Seattle Storm—10:00 PM EST
Before we get into my picks, remember Queen of the Court bet(s) must be on a player prop market for that night. Let’s find some Queens!
Queen Selections: Kelsey Plum, LA Sparks; Rhyne Howard, Atlanta Dream
Yes, the Sparks are riding a three-game skid—but let’s not ignore who they’ve faced. Two matchups against the Lynx, who rank second in defensive rating (94.5) and lead the league in fewest field goals allowed per game (26.8), followed by a game against Seattle—the only team to hand Minnesota a loss this season. LA needs a spark, and fast. Enter: Queen Kelsey Plum. Tonight, she faces a Sky team that’s leaking points all over the floor. Chicago has dropped six of their last seven and currently allow the most points per game (88.4), the highest opponent 3-point percentage (40.9), and sit second to last in overall defensive rating (110.7). Plum torched this squad the last time they met with 28 points—six of which came from beyond the arc—and added eight assists. She’s averaging 20.5 points and 6.6 assists over her last five, and with LA hungry for a win and Chicago on their heels, I’m backing Plum to deliver a show.
Let’s take a moment for the league’s current leader in three-pointers made: Rhyne Howard. She’s fresh off a 22-point performance against Chicago on Sunday, with four of those makes coming from deep. While her 3PT percentage can fluctuate thanks to the volume she puts up—averaging 10.2 threes per game—tonight’s matchup sets her up to keep firing. Dallas ranks near the bottom of the league in perimeter defense, giving up 9.0 made threes per game and allowing opponents to shoot 38.4% from deep. They also just dropped an overtime heartbreaker to the Mystics due to a late triple from rookie Sonia Citron. Howard is averaging 17.3 points per game, and with her rhythm from beyond the arc paired with Dallas’ vulnerability, I like her chances to rule the court tonight.
