The NBA Draft gets underway on Wednesday evening in Brooklyn, NY. DraftKings Sportsbook has been paving the way in terms of being first to market with many of the props, as well as offering unique markets that you won’t find elsewhere.
DraftKings Network has you covered with NBA Draft bets and content that you can find here.
The purpose of this article is to inform bettors of where the most money on DraftKings Sportsbook has been wagered on the 2025 NBA Draft. Let’s breakdown the five most popular bets in terms of total handle — which means the five wagers that’ve taken the most money on DKSB (as of 2pm ET on Tuesday, June 24).
1. No. 1 Pick: Cooper Flagg
Viewed as the only “sure thing” in this draft, we know that the Mavericks plan to come to the podium on Wednesday and begin the draft by selecting Flagg. While the price is insanely steep (-20000 range), bettors are viewing this as a chance to bet on what’s considered a known outcome. It makes sense that this prop has the most overall dollars on it, not just because it’s the one pick that NBA fans believe they know for sure, but also because it takes a large wager even to bring back just a few bucks. As of Monday, 71% of the money to be the No. 1 overall pick was on Flagg.
2. Top-5 Draft Pick: Kon Knueppel
Knueppel opened up at plus-money to be a top-five pick, but has taken some serious money in the week or so leading up to the Draft. Most mock drafts have him going No. 4 overall to the Hornets, who are one of many teams rumored to have fallen in love with Knueppel’s combination of size and shooting. From Monday to Tuesday during Draft week, Kneuppel went from -150 to -1000 to be selected in the top-five picks. He has more bets on him than any player in this market.
3. Derik Queen Draft Position: OVER 10.5
Queen is a highly touted prospect out of Maryland, but bettors believe the top-10 is a reach. After opening 10.5 on his draft position prop, Queen is now listed at 11.5, and juiced -140 to the over. We’ll see if more money continues to move the draft position prop on Queen as we get closer to the start of the NBA Draft. The money tells us Queen could slide here, but only time will tell.
4. Collin Murray-Boyles Draft Position: UNDER 14.5
Murray-Boyles made huge improvements across the board to his game from his freshman to his sophomore season at South Carolina. Now bettors believe NBA scouts have taken notice, and think we’ll see him selected in the lottery on Wednesday night. While Murray-Boyles’ ceiling is likely around pick No. 10, many other mocks have him sliding into the late teens. We’ll find out if the steam to the under is correct.
5. Kon Knueppel Draft Position: UNDER 5.5
This is essentially the same bet at Knueppel to go in the top-five, which shows you how much action this play has on it. However, Knueppel’s prop opened higher than 5.5, and was 6.5 just a week before the draft. Bettors obviously chose to steam this market under, as well as hop on the top-five market. Knueppel being off the board by the time we get to the No. 6 pick will be one of the largest decisions of the night for bettors and the sportsbooks.
