What happened to Eugenio Suarez? Live injury updates for Diamondbacks vs. White Sox 6/23/25

UPDATE: Suarez took light batting practice on Wednesday and expects to be back in the lineup on Friday.

UPDATE: Suarez left the game due to a right hand contusion, but X-rays were negative.

Diamondbacks 3B Eugenio Suarez left Monday’s game vs. the White Sox in the first inning after being hit by a pitch in the hand. He was replaced by Ildemaro Vargas.

On the season, Suarez has recorded 71 hits, 67 RBI and 25 home runs. Hopefully this hand injury is nothing more than a bruise and he will be back out there sooner rather than later.
