Top Home Run Props, Picks for Red Sox at Angels Monday 6/23/25

If you’re looking for power output on Monday’s MLB slate, this is the game to start with. Both the Red Sox and Angels rank inside the top 10 of the league in home runs, with Los Angeles actually sitting third, behind only the stacked rosters of the Yankees and Dodgers.

Below, I’ll reveal my top home run prop pick for each team on DraftKings Sportsbook in tonight’s 9:38 p.m. ET matchup.

Red Sox vs. Angels Home Run Props

Roman Anthony 1+ Home Run (+500)

You’ll want to be attacking Jack Kochanowicz with left-handed bats. It’s not really a secret, either. Kochanowicz’s power sinker has translated into a near-elite 50.4% ground ball rate this season, but when lefty opponents get the ball in the air, it tends to go a looooong way. To wit, LHBs have hit 13 of the 15 home runs that Kochanowicz has surrendered so far in 2025. Lefties also sport a .552 slugging percentage off the RHP. For comparison, right-handers have managed just a .322 mark. Specific to Anthony, the current No. 1 prospect in baseball only has one MLB long ball to his name. However, Anthony’s 16.0% barrel rate and .448 expected wOBA on batted ball events suggest there’s endless power in the 21-year-old’s bat. Wilyer Abreu (+270) is another good pick here, but Anthony’s odds are far too long in this spot.

Nolan Schanuel 1+ Home Run (+750)

There are safer picks on the Angels’ roster. Mike Trout (+250), Logan O’Hoppe (+340) and Taylor Ward (+370) all immediately spring to mind. Yet, it’s left-handed bats that Walker Buehler has really had his issues with so far this season. For 2025 as a whole, Buehler’s surrendered a .401 wOBA to opposing LHBs. However, Buehler’s past four starts have been even worse, with the veteran RHP allowing lefty opponents to slash .407/.475/.611. The only issue? Los Angeles simply doesn’t employ that many left-handed hitters. So, while Schanuel isn’t your prototypical first baseman with power archetype, he’s at least interesting on Monday for the purposes of this prop. Schanuel does currently sport career-highs in average exit velocity, barrel rate and ISO. He’s also mustered three home runs in his last eight games.
