The top two teams in Group A of the FIFA Club World Cup will face off on Monday in Miami. A draw would be mutually beneficial and send both teams through to the knockout stages, but both sides will be looking to win the game, which would result in winning the group and possibly an easier draw in the Round of 16.

I think it’s fair to say that Group A has not gone the way that anybody expected. Porto entered as favorites, but are winless against the two top sides and are on the outside looking in heading to the final game. Both Inter Miami and Palmeiras have been involved in low scoring affairs in this tournament, and I am expecting that trend to continue.
Neither team has been involved in a match with two or more first half goals, or four or more total goals in the game. Defending has been key for both teams, and expect this one to be no different, especially with so much on the line. I see Inter Miami finding a way to win a low scoring affair, and it would come as a shock to nobody if it was Lionel Messi who proved to be the difference maker as he was in the 2-1 win over Porto. At +1300 odds, this feels like a great bet if you think that Miami can get a second consecutive win.
