Opening Odds for 2025-26 NBA MVP

The Oklahoma City Thunder are NBA Champions, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has added a NBA Finals MVP to his illustrious resume. Now, the basketball world will start to look towards the 2025-26 season, and with that comes opening odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for the regular season MVP award.

Nuggets C Nikola Jokic opens as the favorite for the award, looking for his fourth NBA MVP. SGA has the second best odds to win it at +250, looking for his second MVP in a row. After that, there is quite the drop off, with the Greek Freak coming in at +700 followed by Luka Doncic at +800.

What happens this offseason with the draft, trades and free agency will likely shift these odds before the opening tip of next season, but for now the Joker holds all the cards in the race for the most valuable player in the sport.
