The NASCAR Cup Series The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono is on Sunday and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Denny Hamlin: Finishing Position – 3.5

How does anyone pick against Hamlin? He owns Pocono. He doesn’t just own a vacation property in Long Pond, PA—he owns the track. No one has been better—ever—at the Tricky Triangle. He has seven Pocono wins, or eight if the 2022 DQ counts. DQs don’t count at DK, so it’s seven. Those wins came when the track was worn out and in need of a repave. The Pennsylvania track is aged, and the triangle is treacherous. It’s a handful for others, but for Hamlin, the triangle is like any other oval. He’s been on an absolute heater since 2019—four wins and six top-five finishes in seven races.
Hamlin’s practice speeds may worry some, but it’s Pocono—practice isn’t the end-all, be-all. A driver can draft down the long straight stretches and post inflated speeds. The only laps that mattered on Saturday were qualifying laps. When it mattered, Hamlin was the fastest. He earned pole position in a race where track position is everything.
Kyle Larson: Finishing Position – 6.5
Pick6 Play: Better
This is a strategy and skill race. Speed matters, but everyone has it. Larson and the No. 5 Hendrick Chevy team get it. The car wasn’t eye-catching in practice, but his approach was. Larson intentionally ran in dirty air to test how the car would handle adversity. There will be adversity on Sunday. Differing pit strategies will shuffle the field continuously. The contenders will pit at the right times and maneuver when they cycle out of contention.
Larson’s starting position looks grim, but look at the names ahead of him on the grid—he’s better than most, if not all. If Larson keeps it clean, he should be able to bring home a top-five finish. He has driven through the field at Pocono before. There’s little reason to believe he can’t do it again.

Create a Pick Set by choosing at least two players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
