It’s deja vu all over again.
Notice how this article is titled “Pirates at Tigers Game 1” because Wednesday’s edition of this contest also got rained out. Well, we’re doing it all again. Scheduled for a 1:10 p.m. ET first pitch, this afternoon’s game between Pittsburgh and Detroit will be delayed due to inclement weather. Unlike last night, it is expected that this contest will be played at some point today.
When that does happen, Tarik Skubal will finally take the mound for the Tigers, while the Pirates will counter with Andrew Heaney. Skubal enters Thursday with the lowest qualified FIP in MLB (1.87), so as you can imagine, Detroit is a very hefty -358 favorite on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook.
