After the blockbuster trade that sent Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants, he faces his former team, the Boston Red Sox, for the first time Friday. Devers played 1,052 games for Boston, batting .279/.349/.510 with 215 home runs, 696 RBIs, and 663 runs scored. Now, he aims to shine against the franchise where he built his career. Here are some Devers prop bets to consider for tonight’s game. All bets are available on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Devers 2+ H/R/RBI -115

Rafael Devers’ first at-bat against his former team comes against Red Sox starter Hunter Dobbins. While Dobbins has held his own against both sides of the plate, left-handed hitters have had the edge, posting a .329 wOBA, a 3.77 FIP, and 12 extra-base hits out of the 29 he’s allowed. His struggles are even more pronounced against lefties on the road, where he has a .437 wOBA and a 4.50 FIP. Dobbins relies heavily on a four-seam fastball and slider, which account for 66% of his pitches. Devers has excelled against these offerings this season, with a .388 wOBA against four-seam fastballs and a .514 wOBA against sliders from right-handed pitchers. With extra motivation facing his former team, Devers is a strong candidate to record at least two hits, runs, or RBIs tonight.

Devers 2+ total bases +125

If you’re looking for a plus money bet, taking Devers to record at least two total bases checks that box. The downfall to Devers being traded to the Giants is that Oracle Park will zap some of his home run power. It’s one of the least friendly ballparks for home runs, but, that does mean he could be seeing more doubles in his future. He has 19 on the season, which is tied for the eighth-most in the league. Devers is also averaging just under two bases per game at 1.9.

Devers to strikeout in first at-bat
