Pirates at Tigers game postponed due to rain Wednesday 6/18/25

Wednesday evening’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers has been postponed due to rain.

The game was originally scheduled to begin later this evening but will now be played tomorrow as part of a doubleheader. The first game of the day begins at 2:10 p.m. EST, while the now-postponed matchup will start afterwards with first pitch at 6:40 p.m. EST.

The doubleheader will likely include a couple of the best pitchers in baseball. Detroit’s AL Cy Young favorite Tarik Skubal was initially projected to start on Wednesday night, while Pittsburgh’s young phenom Paul Skenes was projected for the early start on Thursday. How the final decisions shake out remains uncertain.

Odds are not currently live for either of these two matchups on DraftKings Sportsbook. However, they will most likely go live sometime tonight. As for DraftKings DFS contests, players from this game won’t accrue points tonight and Pick6 selection from the contest will be scored as void.
