We don’t get a lot of 11-game MLB DFS slates on a Wednesday. Like… Almost never. But you won’t hear me complaining about an extended player pool. Should make it much easier to find some amazing value picks for your DraftKings lineups.

SP Patrick Corbin, Texas Rangers vs. Kansas City Royals, $7,500
I can’t believe we’re here. It took nearly half the season, but I’m writing about Patrick Corbin in a positive light. You truly can not predict baseball, Suzyn. Corbin has been a perfectly acceptable MLB pitcher so far in 2025, though his 3.66 ERA is definitely the result of some luck. To wit, Corbin’s .260 BABIP is a career-low, while his 80.9% strand rate would easily be a career-high. Sequencing has simply been the veteran LHP’s friend throughout the season, as opponents have hit only .207 off Corbin with RISP in his 12 starts. Nine of the 10 home runs he’s allowed have come with the bases empty. My man is tip-toeing that high wire — but it’s working.
Corbin will comes crashing back down to Earth at some point, yet I don’t believe that it’ll be happening on Wednesday. That’s how poorly the Royals have fared against lefties this season. Kansas City will enter play this evening with a 69 wRC+ within the split and a .084 ISO that is the lowest mark in MLB. It’s been awful.
3B/SS Ernie Clement, Toronto Blue Jays vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, $3,500
Here is the leaderboard for wRC+ against LHPs among qualified hitters: Aaron Judge (271), Paul Goldschmidt (238), Ernie Clement (229). That’s right. It’s two former MVPs and a man who has been DFA’d multiple times. See my prior quote about the inability to predict baseball, Suzyn. Clement has always been a solid platoon option in his time with the Blue Jays, yet he’s taken things to a new level in 2025. In 77 plate appearances within the split, the utility infielder is slashing .406/.447/.725 with a .319 ISO. Heck, Clement is hitting .316 with a 133 wRC+ against all handedness of pitcher since the beginning of May. The 29-year-old is locked in at the moment.
On Wednesday, Clement at the Blue Jays will face-off with Eduardo Rodriguez ($7,200). It’s definitely worth noting that E-Rod’s ERA estimators are far more kind than his 6.27 ERA in 11 starts, but Rodriguez has also allowed opponents to hit to a .421 wOBA since April 29. At a certain point, you’re just struggling. Clement and the rest of Toronto’s lineup could be in for a big night.
1B Ben Rice, New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels, $4,100
Rice is in the midst of a slump. Really, the whole Yankee lineup is in the midst of a slump, as the team comes into Wednesday having lost five games in a row and having been shutout the past two nights. I feel like those trends will come to an end this evening in the Bronx. Jack Kochanowicz ($5,500) and his 5.62 FIP will take the mound for the Angels, and it is not an understatement to suggest that the RHP has been haunted by opposing LHBs so far this season. Kochanowicz has faced 189 left-handed batters in 2025 and they combined to slash .307/.381/.530 with a .391 wOBA. They’re also responsible for 11 of the 13 long balls that Kochanowicz has allowed.
Despite Rice’s recent issues, he still leads all New York LHBs with a .422 expected wOBA off righties. Overall, he’s also still in possession of a 97th percentile hard hit rate (55.3%) and a 95th percentile expected slugging rate (.556). With a price tag now lower than it’s been since early April, now is the time to buy in on Rice.
