The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is in full swing and the last teams yet to play from Groups G and H finally take the field on Wednesday. At 3 p.m. EST, historic La Liga club Real Madrid squares off against Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League.

Here’s a Real Madrid vs. Al-Hilal prediction and pick on DraftKings Sportsbook for Group B in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Real Madrid vs Al-Hilal prediction, pick

DraftKings Sportsbook lists Real Madrid as very strong Moneyline favorites with -320 odds to win outright compared to a long +800 for Al-Hilal. Of course, it makes sense given that Real Madrid are second on the betting leaderboard to win the entire Club World Cup at +500.

Given the reputation and star power at Real Madrid, they’re favorites in this matchup for a reason. The club has won their domestic league an incredible 36 times and fell just a few points shy of Barcelona this season for another title. They’ve also won the Champions League nine times with trophies in 2023 and 2024, plus they won the Club World Cup with its old format back in 2023 and four more times since 2015, including three back-to-back victories.

Their top players require no introduction. Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham round out a trio of talented attackers, while new signing Trent Alexander-Arnold is also listed in the Club World Cup squad.

Al-Hilal doesn’t boast anywhere near the same level of top-level talent, but they’re currently second on the Saudi Pro League table. They’re the reigning champions of their domestic league and have won it 19 times overall with 11 Saudi Cup wins and two AFC Champions League Elite wins, most recently in 2021. They also finished runner-up in the 2022 Club World Cup.

Former Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic leads the team with 19 goals in league play in 23 games, followed by Marcos Leonardo’s 17 and Salem Al-Dawsari with 15 goals plus another 15 assists. Another name Premier League fans may recognize is that of Joao Cancelo, who has five assists for the squad in the Saudi Pro League.

It would be unwise to bet on an Al-Hilal upset, and even a draw feels very unlikely at +475 odds given the obvious star power of Real Madrid. The value on the Spanish side to win at -320 just isn’t worth the squeeze, either, so we’re targeting a different avenue here. Bettors can grab over 2.5 goals for Real Madrid at -120 odds, a compelling play. For better odds, over 3.5 goals is also worth considering at +240 value.

Top pick: Real Madrid over 2.5 total goals (-120)
