NHL Best Bets: Top first goalscorer prop picks for Panthers vs. Oilers Game 6

With 39 goals across five games of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final, there have been goals aplenty for both the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers. Each action-packed contest has seen at least seven goals scored, so first goalscorer bettors don’t need to wait long to see the results of their wagers.

I’ve hit two of my last three first goalscorer prop bets I’ve written about during this series, so let’s take a look at one for each side in Panthers vs. Oilers Game 6 on Tuesday night.

First goalscorer prop bets for Panthers vs. Oilers Game 6

Panthers pick: Sam Reinhart (+1300)

One of the key cogs in the Panthers’ emergence as a dynasty threat, Sam Reinhart has notched his best postseason effort to date in these playoffs. His 19 points in 20 games are already more than the 16 and 13 he logged in the prior two postseason runs, and in fewer games at that. He’s scored seven goals in 20 appearances thus far and tallied one in three straight contests, including Game 5. While he only logged one shot in that outing, Reinhart has at least three shots in four of five Stanley Cup games with four or more shots in three of those. He’s got a great shot of scoring first in Game 6.

Oilers pick: Corey Perry (+2200)

The odds Corey Perry scores first are longer than say, Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl, but the veteran has more goals than all but one of his teammates this postseason. With 10 goals in 21 playoff games, the 40-year-old Perry defies Father Time when on the ice. While he doesn’t log a ton of TOI, Perry takes plenty of shots and can be counted to perform in big moments. With at least three shots in four straight games this series and a S% of 26.3%, he’s efficient and gets plenty of designed opportunities near the net.
