The PGA TOUR heads to Cromwell, Connecticut, this week for final Signature Event of the year, the Travelers Championship. TPC River Highlands will be the host, and measures as a 6,844-yard par 70 with a mix of Bentgrass/Poa Annua greens.
We have another small-field, no-cut event on the docket this week. There will be 72 golfers teeing it up, led at the top by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and World No. 2 Rory McIlroy.
Below, I have outlined three of my favorite DraftKings plays for the week.

Patrick Cantlay ($9,800)
I am officially at the point where I will never hold any missed cut at a major championship against Cantlay. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a guy this talented continuously fails to show up to golf’s biggest events, but that’s simply the reality of the situation.
That said, outside the majors, Cantlay is having a stellar 2025 season, posting seven top-15 finishes across 11 starts. He certainly has his favorite courses, and TPC River Highlands is undoubtedly on that list. Cantlay has made seven starts here dating back to 2018, while making the cut each time and finishing no worse than T15 in that stretch. Over the past two years, he’s finished T4 and T5, further solidifying the narrative that he thrives at short, positional golf courses.
If you take away his starts at majors (excluding the Masters), Cantlay has gained strokes on approach in nine consecutive events dating back to the American Express in January.
I have no doubt he’ll backdoor another top-10 finish this week, at the minimum.
Cameron Young ($7,800)
Even as someone who gave up on Young a long time ago, I can’t deny how good he’s playing at the moment. He finished T4 at the U.S. Open last week, which was on the heels of another T4 the week prior at the RBC Canadian Open. Young also then finished T7 at the Truist back in early May. He’s one of the hottest golfers on the PGA TOUR right now and is getting it done in the most anti-Cam Young way imaginable —with the putter.
Young has not just been getting it done with the putter, but he’s been one of the best putters on the planet this year. He currently ranks 10th on the PGA TOUR in SG: Putting for the season, and fourth when you filter for this field. It’s been a remarkable turnaround, as he ranked 145th in that department in 2024 and 158th in 2023.
Along with his putting, Young has also been dialed in with his driver, ranking second in this field in SG: Off-the-Tee over his past 16 rounds. TPC River Highlands may not seem like the ideal course for him due to its short distance and reliance on wedge play, but he posted a career-best T9 finish here last year. That performance was fueled by an incredible third-round 59, which marked just the 13th sub-60 round in PGA TOUR history—also the lowest score of his career.
Young cannot miss the cut this week, and is simply too cheap for the way he’s playing right now at just $7,800.
Brian Harman ($7,200)
Brian Harman has some of the best course history at TPC River Highlands that any golfer has at any PGA TOUR event. The 2023 British Open champ has played this event each of the past 10 years and has finished T9 or better seven times in that span, including a career-best T2 back in 2023.
Among golfers in this field with more than one career start at this event, Harman ranks third behind only Patrick Cantlay and Rory McIlroy in Total Strokes Gained per round at TPC River Highlands. Unfortunately, that is the best thing I could say about him this week, because he’s coming in with some brutal form. Harman has now finished outside T46 or worse in each of his past five starts.
However, before this rough stretch, Harman had been in great form, with a win at the Valero Texas Open and a T3 at the RBC Heritage. A familiar track should help him regain his confidence, and with no concerns about him missing the cut this week, I’ll gladly take my chances on him at just $7,200.
