In the first half of Monday’s Game 5, Tyrese Haliburton attempted to drive down the left side of the lane but stumbled and fell to the ground. After he got up, he was seen rubbing the lower section of his right leg. He went back to the locker room but did return.
Haliburton had a rough first half with zero points, a rebound and two assists in 17 minutes. He shot 0-of-5 from the field and 0-of-4 from downtown.
This injury could be related to the “lower leg thing” after Game 2, per ESPN’s Shams Charania. Haliburton was visibly limping after the post-game press conference.
Haliburton did put up 22 points, nine rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and a block in 36 minutes during Game 3.
Coming out of halftime, Haliburton is back on the court and is moving around well.
