Chet Holmgren has been the first scorer in nine games this season, meaning the big man has reached this feat in 17% of his starts, which is the best among all the players competing in the NBA Finals. Holmgren is attempting the first shot of the game in 17.6% of his starts this season. In the first minute of contests during these playoffs, the 23-year-old is leading the Thunder with a 28.9% usage rate and 13 shot attempts.

Getting Holmgren going right out of the gate is clearly by design for Oklahoma City and at these appealing +550 odds, he is the best player to target to be the first point scorer of Game 5.
