How to watch FIFA Club World Cup: Chelsea vs. Los Angeles FC

With the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup in full swing, Group D gets underway at 2 p.m. ET this afternoon with a match between an MLS giant and a European giant. Los Angeles FC, which earned its way into the tournament by beating Club León in a playoff match on May 31, will have a tough test against the 2021 UEFA Champions League winners, Chelsea.

Like each of the tournament’s 63 games, this match will be streamed for free on DAZN. TBS and Univision will also be carrying the match, depending on your location. The match will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

Given the clubs’ massive difference in total squad market value — LAFC’s players are worth a combined 45.98 million Euros, while Chelsea’s are worth 1.03 billion Euros — it’s not a surprise that the Blues are -340 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. But football is played on the pitch, and strange things can happen, so it isn’t entirely unfathomable that the MLS side can pull off the upset.
