Namajunas is among the most decorated champions in the UFC’s Strawweight division. But since moving up to 125 pounds, we have seen a different version of Namajunas, who is 2-2 in her last four fights. Here is my favorite prop bet for Namajunas against Maverick in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rose Namajunas over 50.5 Significant Strikes (-115)
Namajunas has shown that she is a phenomenal striker throughout her UFC career. Seeing her total in significant strikes set at 50.5 was surprising considering her recent performances. You can get her over in significant strikes at -115 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
In Namajunas’ previous three fights, she has recorded at least 93 significant strikes. She has also hit this mark in significant strikes in four straight bouts and five of six.
The good news for Namajunas is that she has only lost two straight fights once in her career and has shown in the past that she can bounce back. Maverick is good on the ground, but Namajunas should be able to use her elite 61 percent takedown defense to make it a standing contest. If she does so, landing more than 50.5 significant strikes should be doable for Namajunas.
