Kodai Senga left Thursday’s game after suffering an injury in the sixth inning against the Nationals.
CJ Abrams grounded a ball to first base, which forced Pete Alonso off the bag. Senga covered the base but injured himself getting the out.
The right hander was cruising, allowing just one hit and one walk through 5.2 innings and 77 pitches. The Mets led 4-0 when he left the game.
