Best Kyle Tucker Prop Bet for Pirates vs. Cubs 6/12/25

The Chicago Cubs host the Pittsburgh Pirates for the first of a four-game series tonight. The Cubs have struggled recently, going 3-5 in their previous eight contests. The Pirates have won three of the last four matchups in Chicago.

One of Chicago’s best players, Kyle Tucker, is batting .274 with 13 home runs and 43 RBIs this season. Here is my favorite prop bet for Tucker against the Pirates tonight.

Kyle Tucker 1+ Walks (+120)

Arguably, Tucker’s best statistic this season has been walks. He is fifth in the MLB in walks with 46. He has walked at least once in three of his previous four games. You can back him in this area for tonight’s game at +120 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tucker has walked in two of his last three games against Pittsburgh and five of six. The Cubs will face Andrew Heaney, who is 3-4 on the season with a 3.24 ERA. Heaney has allowed three-plus walks in four of his last eight outings. Tucker has walked in eight of his 14 at-bats against Heaney in his career.

In the MLB, Tucker is fifth in walk-to-strikeout rate with a 1.122. He also has a .152 walk percentage, which is seventh in baseball. Tucker has only had two hits in his last five games. With his inconsistent hitting, it is better to get Tucker to record a walk in tonight’s game against the Pirates.
