Red Sox at Yankees game delayed due to rain Friday 6/6/25

UPDATE: Red Sox at Yankees is now expected to begin at 7:30 p.m. EST.

Friday evening’s matchup between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees will be delayed due to rain. The game was originally scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. EST start, but the tarp has been rolled onto the field and a new start time is yet to be announced.

The Yankees are a heavy favorite at -199 odds to win on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Red Sox hold +162 odds to win outright.

When the anticipated AL East rivalry matchup does begin, Will Warren gets the start for the Yankees against Boston’s Walker Buehler.
