Pascal Siakam for 1+ points in the first three minutes (-135)

Siakam has been an elite scorer early in games this postseason. In the first three minutes of the Pacers’ 16 playoff games, the veteran is leading Indiana with 37 points and 2.3 PPG. Siakam is also leading the Pacers with a huge 33.9% usage rate in this situation and he has attempted 30 total shots in the first three minutes of these 16 games, which is the most for Indiana by a mile. For context, ranking second is Myles Turner with 17.

The Pacers clearly like to feed Siakam early and that almost certainly will continue in Thursday’s Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Siakam is the veteran leader of this Indiana team and he and reserve Thomas Bryant are the only two Pacers’ players that have ever competed in an NBA Finals before. Most of this young team will likely be nervous to begin this contest and Siakam should immediately try to set the tone for his teammates with a few quick baskets.
