The 2025 NBA Finals are here as the Indiana Pacers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in a matchup few, if any, pundits predicted. The Pacers haven’t been here since 2000, while the Thunder last reached the Finals in 2012. As Tyrese Haliburton looks to propel his team to a 1-0 lead, what kind of performance can he muster under the highest stakes of his young career?
Here’s the top Tyrese Haliburton prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Pacers vs. Thunder Game 1 tonight.
Best Tyrese Haliburton prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
The Pacers enter the first game of this NBA Finals series as -9.5-point underdogs with +320 odds to win on the Moneyline. They’ve had a great playoff run, but it does look like the Thunder are going to be heavy favorites throughout the best-of-seven at -410 on the Moneyline in Game 1. The total sits at 231 combined points.
DraftKings Sportsbook lists Haliburton’s prop lines at 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 2.5 three-pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line sits at 31.5, a much lower combo line than his listing last series in the Eastern Conference Final.
Haliburton posted a 21-point, 13-assist double-double in a closeout Game 6 against the Knicks, so he enters this game coming off a high-quality performance. Over the course of 16 postseason games, he nearly averages a double-double with 18.8 points, 9.8 assists, and a surprising 5.7 rebounds per outing.
The Thunder are one of the NBA’s most dominant defenses through both the regular season and postseason, so this’ll be the toughest test yet for Haliburton and the Pacers. It’s understandable that his lines sit a touch lower in this matchup, however, the points line of 17.5 just feels like a bit of an overcorrection, especially for a guy who’s so crucial to his team’s offense.
While Haliburton does serve as the lead playmaker for Indiana and one of the NBA’s last few true floor generals, he still ranks second on the Pacers with 14.6 shots per game this postseason. Having scored over 17.5 points in nine of 16 playoff games, I do think he should do it again on Thursday evening. He may be a pass-first point, but against the highest-quality opponent in the league with stakes this high, this feels like an opportunity for Haliburton to carry more of the scoring load himself.
Best Tyrese Haliburton prop bet: Over 17.5 points (-115)
