What happened to Pablo Lopez? Live injury updates for Twins vs. Athletics 6/3/25

UPDATE: Lopez is expected to miss 8-12 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Twins P Pablo Lopez pitched five innings in Tuesday’s game vs. the Athletics before taking himself out of the game. He threw one warm-up pitch before the start of the sixth inning but clearly felt something and left the field with a trainer.

Before exiting, he threw 72 pitches in those five innings. He gave up four hits, two runs, walked three and threw four strikeouts. He was replaced by Cole Sands.
