What happened to Kerry Carpenter? Live injury updates for Tigers vs. White Sox 6/4/25

Only two days removed from a sensational three-home run night, Tigers OF Kerry Carpenter has been scratched from Wednesday’s game just a few hours before the first pitch due to hamstring tightness. He was replaced in the lineup by Wenceel Perez.

There is no mention of when the injury occurred, but he did play in Tuesday’s game recording no stats in two at-bats. It was Monday’s game where he had an unbelievable performance, finishing with three homers and five RBIs. Hopefully for Carpenter it is nothing serious so he can continue this hot streak. The right fielder has 56 hits and 13 homers on the season.
