MLB Best Bets: Top prop bets for Giants vs. Padres on Wednesday 6/4/25

In the evening MLB slate tonight, the San Francisco Giants host the San Diego Padres for the third and final contest of this series. After winning both of the last two outings, the Padres look to complete the sweep this evening and push their three-game lead over their NL West rival further out as they continue creeping up on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Here’s the top prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Giants vs. Padres on Wednesday.

Manny Machado 2+ hits (+220)

Can I get four for four? No, this isn’t a Wendy’s — it’s just Manny Machado’s box score from last night after he tallied four hits and a walk. Coming into this one hot, the six-time All-Star is batting .333 with four home runs over his last 15 games. I fully expect him to continue rolling tonight and follow up yesterday’s big game with another big performance. While it probably won’t be another perfect game for Machado, two hits are a perfectly reasonable goal with nice value at +220.

Nick Pivetta 7+ strikeouts (+110)

The Padres’ ace continues to deliver some of the most lights-out work in the MLB. Nick Pivetta’s 2.74 ERA and 1.01 ERA are elite numbers alongside his 71 strikeouts across 62.1 innings. With a 10.25 K/9, he’s effective at making batters look foolish and should be positioned to do so tonight against a Giants lineup ranked just inside the bottom-10 in strikeouts. Plus odds make this an intriguing play.

Matt Chapman over 0.5 hits (-160)

The Giants’ third baseman started the season slow, but he’s come online as of late. His AVG and OPS sit at .273 and .809 over the last month, .317 and .977 in the last two weeks, and a scorching .375 and 1.149 in the last seven days. He’s also hit 10 home runs this season, too. The odds here aren’t awe-inspiring, nor is the matchup, but Chapman’s hot streak should keep going for another game tonight.
