MLB Prop Bets for Tuesday, June 3, 2025

Brayan Bello under 15.5 outs recorded -115

The Red Sox want Brayan Bello to pitch deep into tonight’s game after last night’s bullpen strain. Starter Richard Fitts lasted one inning, allowing five runs on four hits, while Hunter Dobbins pitched five innings in relief. Over the past week, the Red Sox bullpen has logged 27⅔ innings, the second-most in the league. With Bello starting tonight, it’s likely the bullpen’s workload will increase further. Bello has recorded fewer than 15.5 outs in six of his eight starts, including his last six consecutively. His 3.83 ERA contrasts with a 5.99 xERA, indicating he is a regression candidate. Although the Angels’ offense isn’t elite, Bello’s high pitch counts early in games make a six-inning outing unlikely.

Philadelphia Phillies over 2.5 runs through the first five innings +100

The Phillies will likely generate significant offense early against Bowden Francis. At home, Francis has struggled with a 6.43 ERA, 7.90 FIP, and 11 of his 15 allowed home runs. Left-handed hitters have been particularly challenging, with Francis allowing a .405 wOBA, 7.70 FIP, and 12 of his 15 home runs. The Phillies’ projected lineup tonight includes at least five left-handed batters, with three among the first four hitters. Given Francis’s struggles, the Phillies are likely to score at least three runs in the first five innings.

Pete Crow-Armstrong 2+ total bases -110

Crow-Armstrong is in a great spot tonight against Nationals starter Trevor Williams. On the season against lefties, Williams has a putrid .405 wOBA with a 5.57 FIP and six of the seven home runs he’s allowed. Those numbers are about the same when pitching at home, which is where tonight’s game is located. PCA has been a machine getting on base and has now recorded at least two total bases in 29 of his 59 games, good for 49% of the season.

Good luck with these MLB picks tonight!
