The Patriots signed Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $69 million contract back in March that includes $26 million guaranteed. The four-time pro-bowler will be 32 in November and is recovering from a torn ACL which he sustained back in Week 8 last season.
Diggs has been in the news lately after a video of him on a boat, with what appeared to be an unidentified substance, went viral last week. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel came out after and said that the team was aware of the video and then highlighted the importance good decision making “on and off the field.”
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that the Patriots have no plans to release Diggs, and that they have high hopes for their new WR1.
Diggs was present at the Patriots voluntary organized team activity on Monday, where he participated in drills and caught passes from quarterback Drake Maye.
Diggs currently has a regular season receiving yards prop of 725.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. You can also bet if he will eclipse both the 1,000 and 1,500 receiving yard milestones, which currently have odds of +250 and +1400, respectively.
