MLB Prop Bets for Monday, June 2, 2025
Rob Refsnyder 2+ total bases +105
With the Angels’ starting lefty Tyler Anderson, Rob Refsnyder should bat cleanup for the Red Sox tonight. Refsnyder has strong numbers against left-handed pitchers since last season, with a .406 wOBA and a .268 ISO. Anderson relies on three pitches for 93% of his throws: a four-seam fastball, a changeup, and a cutter. Since last season, Refsnyder has at least a .381 wOBA against each of these pitches. I expect him to record at least two total bases in tonight’s matchup against the Angels.
Los Angeles Dodgers over 2.5 runs through first five innings -120
The Dodgers, as you’d expect, have been one of the most productive offenses through the first five innings. Thus far, they’ve averaged 3.1 runs, which is the second-best in the league, trailing only the Yankees. Tonight, they’ll be facing Mets starter Paul Blackburn, who’ll be making his 2025 debut. He’s had mixed results in his 29.1 innings through the minors, which spanned 12 starts between A+ through AAA. Last year, Blackburn had a 4.66 ERA with a 4.59 xERA and a 4.63 FIP through 14 starts with the Athletics and Mets. Drawing the Dodgers in his first start is a tall task, and I don’t imagine he’ll be going deep into this game. Because of this, we could see the Mets going to the bullpen even before the conclusion of the fifth inning.
