Two of the best women’s flyweight contenders, No. 4 Erin Blanchfield and No. 5 Maycee Barber, will face off in the Main Event of tonight’s UFC Fight Night. On Friday, Barber hit the scale at 126.5 pounds, a half-pound over the flyweight limit. Barber forfeited 20 percent of her purse to Blanchfield. No. 7 Mateusz Gamrot looks to get back in the win column against Ludovit Klein in the co-main event.
The Prelims start at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+, with the Main Card beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET. Here are my two best bets for UFC Fight Night: Blanchfield vs. Barber.
Mateusz Gamrot Moneyline (-155)
Gamrot is fighting Klein in an exciting lightweight bout. Although each fighter has had 10 fights in the UFC, Gamrot has a big advantage regarding big fight experience. Gamrot has fought Arman Tsarukyan, Beneil Dariush, Jalin Turner, Rafael Fiziev, Rafael Dos Anjos and Dan Hooker. He is 4-2 against those opponents in his UFC career.
Although Gamrot is coming off a loss to Hooker at UFC 305, that doesn’t tell the whole story. It was a split decision loss, and Gamrot outlanded Hooker 88-82 in total strikes while landing five takedowns with nearly five minutes of control time.
Klein has a seven-fight unbeaten streak with an impressive 91 percent takedown defense. With Gamrot being three inches taller, he will have a great chance to dictate the pace of this contest. Gamrot must land a few takedowns while being effective on the feet to have a successful outing. You can back him at -155 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Dustin Jacoby To Win By KO/TKO/DQ (+165)
Jacoby is always looking for a knockout when he enters the cage. Each of his previous three victories has come by knockout, and five of his eight UFC wins are by TKO/KO. Tonight, Jacoby is fighting Bruno Lopes in a three-round light heavyweight bout.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Jacoby is a -192 favorite to win this fight while Lopes is a +160. But the better value is to get Jacoby to win this fight by KO/TKO/DQ, which you can get at +165. Jacoby is 37 years old, and another big win is needed to keep climbing the rankings at 205 pounds. He is looking to win two straight fights for the first time since July 2022.
