Josh Hart deserves a lot of credit for being mentally strong through these playoffs. He has had turnover issues. He has not shot the ball particularly well. He also was removed from the starting lineup during this series. After the Knicks lost the first two games at home, Tom Thibodeau decided it was time for something to change. He moved Mitchell Robinson into the starting lineup, moving Hart to the bench. He also made other moves like replacing Cam Payne’s minutes with a combination of Delon Wright and Landry Shamet. The changes have worked in the Knicks’ favor, as they have won two of the past three games to keep their season alive. Part of the reason it has been effective is that Hart has not changed at all, even though he has to come off the bench.
