The New York Knicks responded with urgency in Game 5, staving off elimination and shifting the pressure squarely onto the Indiana Pacers as the series returns to Indianapolis. Jalen Brunson MORE than 30.5 Points
Jalen Brunson remains the engine of New York’s offense, averaging 33.0 points across the first five games of the series. He dropped 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting in Game 5 and continues to punish Indiana’s backcourt in isolation and pick-and-roll actions.
“I’m just very proud of what we did,” Brunson said postgame. “Now, we’ve just got to replicate it in the first quarter of next game and then continue to build on that.”
Brunson has topped 30 points in four of the last five games against the Pacers and is locked in heading into a must-win Game 6.
Tyrese Haliburton MORE than 31.5 Points and Assists
Game 5 was a rare clunker for Tyrese Haliburton, who managed just 8 points on 2-of-7 shooting with 6 assists. But that slump followed a historic Game 4, where he recorded a 32-15-12 stat line without a turnover. The Pacers star expects to bounce back at home.
“I’ve got to be better setting the tone, getting downhill,” Haliburton said. “They picked up the pressure a little bit more… but I’ll be better in Game 6.”
He’s averaged 21.0 points, 10.0 assists, and 6.0 rebounds in the series and will be looking to recapture control in front of Indiana’s crowd.
Andrew Nembhard MORE than 10.5 Points
Nembhard has struggled offensively over his last three games but has shown the ability to break out. He scored just 6 points in Game 5, but earlier in the postseason, he posted double-digit scoring in 10 of his first 12 playoff games.
“I have to be more aggressive, especially early,” Nembhard said. “We’re still confident… we’ll regroup and come out stronger next game.” If Indiana is to avoid a Game 7, they’ll need their secondary guards like Nembhard to shoulder more scoring load.
Karl-Anthony Towns MORE than 9.5 Rebounds
Towns hauled in 13 rebounds in Game 5, maintaining his average of 11.8 rebounds per game in the Eastern Conference Finals. He’s consistently controlled the glass and delivered a physical interior presence—something New York will again rely on.
“We all did what was necessary to regain our footing,” Towns said. “It’s a testament to my teammates for trusting me and putting me in positions where I can leverage my skills.”
Indiana’s pace and drive-heavy offense will continue to offer Towns plenty of rebound chances on both ends.
Josh Hart MORE than 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
After a tough Game 4, Hart rebounded with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists in 34 minutes of Game 5. His ability to impact the game across multiple categories makes him a strong Pick6 option.
“I was genuinely embarrassed about my performance,” Hart said. “I knew I had to step up.”
Hart has now averaged 12.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists over the last two games. His hustle and floor presence remain key for New York.
Karl-Anthony Towns MORE than 35.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists
Towns has been a steady force for the Knicks throughout the Eastern Conference Finals, and he’s quietly delivered in multiple stat categories. While his averages are weighed down by a tough Game 2 showing — 20 points, seven rebounds, and zeo assists — he’s cleared this 35.5 PRA line in each of the other four games in the series.
He’s averaging 25.4 points, 11.8 rebounds, and has made timely passes out of the post when defenses collapse. With Indiana prioritizing Brunson, Towns could see more touches and mismatches inside, giving him a strong chance to rack up stats across the board again in Game 6.
