Best Angel Reese Prop Bet for Sky vs. Wings on Thursday 5/29/25

Although lowlight videos of her repeatedly missing layups and getting blocked circle the internet from time to time, there’s no denying that Angel Reese is one of the faces of the WNBA, among the world’s fastest-growing professional sports leagues. The Chicago Sky center combines a flair for the spotlight with uncanny rebounding talent, and her scoring is starting to come around, too.

She’s recorded three double-doubles in four games this season and will hope to give first overall pick Paige Bueckers her “Welcome to the WNBA” moment tonight when the Sky host Bueckers’ Dallas Wings tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

Chicago is a one-point underdog at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set for 171.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bet centered around the Bayou Barbie.

Angel Reese 30+ Points + Rebounds (+210)

Reese hasn’t gotten to this number yet this season, as her most prolific combined scoring and rebounding performance came in the opening game of the season, when she dropped 12 points and snagged 17 boards (10 offensive). But her playing time was fairly low for the first two games of the season, since the Sky got blown out. She’s played 30 or more minutes in each of the last two games, which have each been more competitive, and gotten fairly close to the mark, nabbing 25 combined points/rebounds on Sunday and then 28 two days later. Across that span, she’s shot a more respectable 40% from the field.

Perhaps all Reese needs to get going this season is a matchup against a bad team like the Wings, who have given up the league’s third-most points and fifth-most rebounds so far this season. It makes sense when you look at the roster; Dallas only has three players on the roster taller than Reese’s six-foot-three, and they play a combined 36 minutes per game. Opponents shoot the league’s fifth-highest percentage in the restricted area against the Wings, which might limit Reese’s offensive rebounding ceiling while boosting her scoring ceiling. She’ll have plenty of defensive rebounding chances, given that Dallas has attempted the fourth-most restricted-area shots this season and converted at the third-lowest rate.
